We spent the day driving along the coast. It reminded us of the Pacific Coast Highway in California. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, clear day. Here’s a picture of our first look at the ocean.
We drove to Simon’s Town on False Bay to see the resident penguins. There are more than 30,000 penguins that live in this area.
Our next stop was Cape Point, a national park in South Africa. This is also one of the southernmost points of the continent.
We were warned numerous times to not feed the baboons. They are very aggressive. This picture is from our car…windows up!
